Parkers from my family were in Dade Co, GA in 1850. They were Ewell and Elizabeth (Lemmons) Parker. I believe they came from Coffee County, TN, to Dade Co, and then returned to Coffee Co. Ewell and Elizabeth had a son named Lorancy Dowell Parker. I believe this might have been a family name (though the spelling may vary). I would be very interested in sharing information with you.
