I, along with a couple of other relatives, have hit a very hard, dense brick wall on this man, Jasper Newton Parker. We do know that he was born June 21, 1828 in either New York or Vermont but where and when he passed away, nothing. He was married to a Caroline Adelia Clexton. Date of marriage December 13, 1840 in Buffalo, New York at his father's home(name unknown) by a Rev. Schuyler Parker, Pastor of the Black Rock Methodist Church. We also know that Jasper and Caroline parted company after having 4 children, Cora, Byron, Charles and Mathew. Do not know if they divorced or if he passed away. She later, supposedly remarried. Jasper and Caroline had 2 of their children in Chicago and one in Kane county and the 4th in Hennepin, Putnam county, IL.
