Jo, The article "Richard Sawtell of Watertown, Mass.", NEHG Register vol. 126, Jan 1972 says: Mary Sawtell, b. abt 1699 (daughter of Obadiah and Hannah (Lawrence) Parker) married Lt. Benjamin Parker on 23 Oct 1718 in Groton, pp. 8-9 Mary Sawtell, b. 11 Apr 1697 (daughter of Zachariah and Mary (Blood) Sawtell) married John Blanchard on 20 May 1722 in Groton, p. 10 An earlier NEHG Register article - "Joseph Blanchard of Boston, Mass., and Some of His Descendants", vol. 93, April 1939, p. 69 also reports that John Blanchard married Mary Sawtell, daughter of Zachariah and Mary (Blood) Sawtell. I don't see that either article provides definitive evidence to distinguish the two Marys, but in my experience, the NEHG Register is rarely mistaken. I see no later updates in the Register to refute or correct the above. Jim Kendall
