I want the attention of anyone who is connected to THOMAS PARKER b.possibly in Wyonbishe, England, died in Isle of Wight, VA about 1663? The one that married widow of Peter Montague! I have a report done by Certified Genealogists in Georgia from years ago. I have seen many descrepancies of information on the internet, and most of them do not state what source the proof came from. They just state information as a fact and then you find they copied it from someone else's Gedcom or files. I would like for everyone and anyone who can give us an actual source for any of the information below to please post back to this group with the reference. We really need to pool this together and get our facts straight. 1) a) The Report says he came to the US in 1642 with 4 children: named Joana, Thomas, Elizabeth and Francis; b) Yet I have seen statements that he came to US at other dates, and had a fifth child named John with him??? (Does anyone have a ship record, or a reliable book that states exactly when he came and the childrens names?) 2) a) The report states he married Frances Montague, widow of Peter Montague and she is named on the administration of Thomas Parker's estate in 1663; b) Yet I have seen other dates for his Administration of his estate, and they refer to her as Cecily???? (Does anyone actually have a copy of his Administration of estate to see what the wife's name is, or other proof of her name?) 3) a) The report claims Thomas and second wife Frances had children: Catherine, Peter, and Richard; b) Yet I have seen other names of children by his second wife, and I have seen claims he did not have any children at all by his second wife, (Could Frances be a second wife of Thomas, and Cecily Montague be a third wife? Anyone have any kind of proof on this? and/or names of any children?) I am more than willing to share this report with anyone who will take the time to check it out. I have it here now. The copy I got from Georgia is not real clear. But, it was from Genealogical Enterprises, Certified Genealogist, 6073 Woodview Dr, Morrow, GA 30260. Jeannette B. Starki or Sturki, C.G.; and Dorothy H. Berring or Derring, C.G.. It is about 15 pages. I have had a hard time making heads or tails fo the report to know if I have the information correct, but I also realize no one else seems to agree on anything about Thomas Parker either.
