TERRY, So right you are. That was why I was trying to see if anyone had any 'REAL' proof. It's amazing and sad the stories out there on the internet about this family, and none of them match up...well very few. No one seems to actually have copies of any proof. Thank Heavens I didn't hire this genealogist that did the report. (And I'm not putting down genealogists, I am one myself...). I just asked a libary in Georgia to make a copy of this genealogical report that I saw a reference to. But, again, the report makes sense and lines up, BUT, I want to see the proof! Before I ordered a bunch of documents, I thought I would see if anyone had any of them in their possession so we could save some time and money here. I have had several listers who have given me sites on the internet that you can actually see some of the old documents on. But, so far they haven't helped. It is my guess, with this many people working on the same line, that there may not be any further proof. We may have to hope they do a DNA project some day that might provide the help like some other families have done. As always, thanks for any comments, suggestions or help. My suggestion to you is get all the info you can > from as many sources as you can and then try and make an deductive > informed opinion on the truth. I'm sorry it's just wrong to espouse info as being true because > it's paid for. None of us will probably know all the truth in the end. >
