According to the census, they were both born in Tennessee. I have record of them in Coffee County, TN, in the District 1 and District 3, (which is the Noah, Panhandle, Beechgrove area) as early as Oct 1847. This area is also near Coffee, Cannon, Bedford and Rutherford counties meet. Ewell "Will" Parker (b) 1817 in Tennessee (d) ? The 1880 Tennessee (Coffee Co, District 3) Census shows that his father and mother were born in South Carolina and lists him as a farmer. May be buried in an unmarked grave at Parker Hill Cemetery at Hollow Springs in Cannon County, TN. (m) Elizabeth "Bettie" Lemmons (b) 1828 in Tennessee (d) ? The 1880 Census shows that her father and mother were both born in Tennessee. (m) date unknown Their children: A. Leatha Ann Parker - married John William "Blackburn" Crosslin, son of John & Easter (Hamby) Crosslin. Their children: Laura E. Crosslin (married Sam Jordan Anderson - who later married Atha Mae Ferrell), Rudolfus (R.L.) Crosslin (wife unknown), John Ewell Crosslin (married Ida Spindle), Eva "Evie" Crosslin (married Estell Ferrell - who later married Mattie Ewell), Blackburn Crosslin (wife's initials I.M. name unknown at this time, Mollie B. Crosslin (married Everett Ferrell). Ferrells were all brothers and sister - children of Perrin & Sarah (Prince) Ferrell. B. Lorancy "L.D." Dowell Parker - married Nancy E. Crosslin, daughter of John & Easter (Hamby) Crosslin. Their children: Julia A. Parker, William (married Thomas H. Crosslin) "Willie" W. Parker (never married), Abe D. "A.D." Parker (never married), Alexander "Alec" Parker (married and had children but information unknown at this time, Odie B. Parker (married John Thomas Trail who later married Beulah Crosslin), Mary Elizabeth "Bettie" Parker (married Samuel "Sam" Nelson Floyd who later married Dollie Sherrill), Lyda "Lydie" Parker (married Lillard Merritt), John Ural Parker (married 1st Sarah Brown, 2nd Virgie Lee Vickers). C. John W. Parker - married Rowena Ross. They had one child that died and then raised some, may have adopted. D. Mary Elizabeth Parker (my great grandmother)- married James Harrison Taylor parents unknown. Their children: James Matthew "Matt" Taylor (never married), Bettie Jane Taylor (married Ransom Trail who later married Dollie (Sherrill) Floyd and Novella Ewell), Laura B. Taylor (married John B. "Pet" Burks), Leatha Ann Taylor (my grandmother - married Jesse Hillrie Cooper), Lettie Pearl Taylor (never married). E. William R. Parker - married 1st - Millie Disque - their children: Jacob Ewell Parker, 2nd - Elizabeth Espey (no children), 3rd - Virginia Bouldin - their children: a baby girl (died at birth), William Forrest Parker (married Tommie Delia Warren), 4th Minnie Harman - their children: a baby (died at birth), William Thomas Parker (married Vera Mae Sanders) F. Martha Isabella Parker - Alan Levi "Al" Adams - their children: Rosalie Adams (married John Martin Jones), Ellis Ewell Adams (married Judy Banks), Wallace Estill Adams (married Nannie Bell Shelton), Odie D.
