Hello We might be kin! my Great Great Grandfather was Russel Parker and his daughter Sarah Ann Artha Parker was my great Grandmother she died 1935 in Dallas, Texas from around Calhoun County Ala. She married John Franklin Walker b 1846 St. Clair Ala, died 1916 in cook County Texas. He fought in the Alabama 1st Cal. Co. G on the Union Side. My wife mother was a Stephens from Alabama, I told her we might be kin to each other because I have Stephens on my side too. Also researching the Little family,Stephens family, Ward family, Roberts, Walker family, all of these families have lived in Cleburne county, some lived and died there, but some moved on to Calhoun County.     3. Garland, Are any of your Parkers from Grayson Co. TX? My gg grandfather was James Parker who m. (1) Elvira Davis and (2) Elizabeth Walker. The Parkers came to TX about 1852 and ran livestock, mostly horses and mules, between Grayson and Cook Co. TX. James is believed to have been born in Indiana ca 1815 but was in TN as a young man. His 1st wife was b. in Lauderdale Co. AL. They were m. in Missouri. Names and places sound similar to yours so thought I'd check.
