The reason I ask, my 3ggrandfather John Parker has Abram Ferris born 1820 and Sarah Ferris born 1846 living with him on the 1860 federal census in Smyrna, Chenango Co. New York. I have no idea who John's parents are [his wife is Mary last name unknown] and I have no idea where or if the Ferris people fit into the family. If Abram is related to your Ferris people then maybe my John is related to your Susan or maybe Mary is a Ferris.
