Of that number, Family Group #5 is comprised of the test results of twenty-two different Parker males. Those males represent different branches of their particular Parker tree and share the same markers, but have earliest common ancestors who may have lived thousands of years ago. One or more FG#5 ancestors, like those in some of the other Family Groups, may have gone to Ohio and elsewhere, while others of that same bloodline went south. Researchers today have identified family after family of FG#5 Parkers in each of the specific places you named, NC, GA, AL, and MS. They were - and are - numerous there. I hope you can learn more about your Parker ancestry. Dennis West will help you if he can. You are probably aware that Christopher Adams Parker himself had no known descendants, so tracing him personally is not likely. However, he left a sizeable and extended set of Armstrong and Sparrow relatives in Mississippi, Louisiana, and up the East Coast. I can help you with his sister Minerva Parker Sparrow if you are interested. Advise at jandpparker@msn.com. Good luck in your research. Patricia Ross Parker, FG#7 researcher Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
