I think I will try the MT test. I have been thinking about it. Will follow your advice & see if I can try to understand more. I am always interested in learning about genealogy. My dad's line was so easy to document as all Blankeship families in the US can trace their line back to some member of Ralph Blankenship's family line. Not so with the Parkers as you know.
