I have some info that I am trying to pull together to make a clear picture. Basically, what I have is a John Parker ( b.ca 1793, d. 1865) family that was originally from SC, spent some time in the Burnt Corn Springs area in Conecuh Cty. Al, then moved on to Philadephia, Neshoba Cty, Ms. John was married to a Susannah, and one of their children was James Shelton Parker, born about 1822-1825 in SC, marrying Mary Ingram or Engram (b. 1822 in Burnt Corn Springs, Al.; d 1887 in Al. He died Sept. 3, 1864. I have quite a bit of info, but of course, not enough! You can email me at ATodisco@aol.com if you would like more info or have some to share with me.
