She was the daughter of Ambrose Bassett Parker and Lou Ann Wallen. Her grandson, Marvin Earl Roberts, Jr., recalls that she was called "Grandma Sweeney" and that she was Native American. I don't see any evidence of Native American ancestry in her tree, but Mr. Roberts has a clear memory of his father's (Marvin Earl Roberts, Sr.) mother being this "Grandma Sweeney" and that she was a stereotypical native who frequently sat on an Indian blanket with her legs crossed Indian style. His wife, Patricia Gail Roberts, also remembers this "Grandma Sweeney". Does anyone know anything about Eliza? I have attached a photo of her.
