PARKER, born ca. 1824-29 in VT. In the 1860 census, Plina PARKER (æ 31, b. VT) shows up in Rutland, Rutland Co., VT, with wife, Susan (æ 26, b. Wis?), and daughters Anna L. (æ 5, b. VT) and Margarett (æ 3, b. VT). In the 1870 census, Plinney PARKER (æ 43, b. VT) shows up in Goodwin Twp., Plumas Co., CA, with wife, Rosanna (æ 36, b. MA), and daughters Annie (æ 15, b. VT) and Maggie (æ 13, b. VT). In the 1880 census, Pliny PARKER (æ 56, b. VT) shows up in the Town of Quincy, Plumas Co., CA, with an unnamed wife (æ 45, b. Prussia), her widowed daughter, Emilie SAUER (æ 22, b. NJ), and granddaughter, Aimee SAUER (æ 3, b. CA). I have since worked out that the third wife is the widow of Karl SCHWEIN. Her given name is still unknown, but her maiden name appears to be GRIMM. The daughter's full name is Emilie Louise SCHWEIN, born 2 Jan 1858 in Newark, Essex Co., NJ. Emilie married, first, to a Mr. SAUER and second to Henry Porter WORMLEY. She had a daughter, Aimee Regina SAUER, and a son, Harry J. WORMLEY. Pliny's daughter, Anna L. PARKER, married, first, Isaac Campbell BORING and, second, Marcus Stein LIGHT, in Plumas Co., CA. I'm seeking the marriage records - or, at least, the maiden names - of Pliny's three wives: Susan, Rosanna, and Ms. GRIMM. I'm also seeking Pliny's parents. I had hoped to find him unmarried in the 1850 census, which should tell me the identity of his parents, but so far have failed. Either he was skipped or is so badly mis-indexed, I can't pull him up in the search engine at Ancestry.com. Any additional information welcome. Everything I have is online at my web site in the form of linked, documented family group sheets. You can hook into them from Marcus LIGHT's page: http://dgmweb.net/FGS/L/LightMarcusStein-AnnaLParker-SylviaScott.html Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
