She was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 17, 1915, and was a graduate of East High School. During WWII, she worked at Curtiss-Wright Corporation and then at Rockwell International. She was a homemaker and caregiver to her family, as well as anyone else in need of compassion and care. She is survived by her children, Harry H. (Phyllis) Parker, Paul D. (Alice) Parker, Rosella R. Crosby, and Charles A. (Gayle) Parker; son-in-law, Gary Wheeler; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Parker; and numerous grand-, great-grand-, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her former husband Harry D. Parker, children Richard L. Parker, Barbara S. Drosos, Sandra L. Wheeler, and Tommy F. Parker, and son-in-law Larry Crosby. A funeral service will be held at 12Noon on Monday, August 27, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
