I know where Susan was in 1870 and 1880 as I mentioned it in my message. Sorry for questioning your premises. I have been doing this genealogy thing for a long time also. However, when presented with questions on anything I put up in a tree, I welcome the inquiries. I just want to get it right, no matter who finds the info The fact that the marriage records of Josephine and Eliza mirror each other, at different times, should raise some questions in anyone's mind. As I said, the marriage records on both women show Samuel and Susan Parker as parents, the document dated one day prior, in each case, name their mother as Susan L. Carey. There has to be an explanation. These records came from Virginia marriage records and were transcribed on to Family Search. These are not my ancestors but they are my husband's through the one Parker daughter most people don't even mention, Eliza B. Parker who married John T. White and ended up living at Chesapeak! e. Whether Johanna was another sister or the entry of her name was a mistake in the 1850 Census (and I've seen many of them), I can't tell at this time. But, I will bother you no more and will go on with this alone. Thank you, however, for the Belotte name. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
