According to family trees and various supporting data, the parents of your Timothy Richard Parker were James Parker and wife Emma Barton. They were both born in England, married there and had son Richard Parker (although dates of his birth vary.) They left London, England for US on the SS Philadelphia and arrived in New York in October, 1841. The child Richard was one year old, according to the abstracted passenger list. Suggest you contact lyndaboulos_1 on Ancestry.com message board for further details. Some dates etc.from her tree vary, unclear. If you have the International subsc to Ancestry.com, you may be able to locate the SS Philadelphia's manifest that lists that family.
