He was born 25 Mar 1833 in TN. In 1860 he was in Alpine, Clark Co., AR. He may have fought with an AR cav regt for the Union. His 1870 residence is Antoine, Pike Co., AR, and then he probably died abt 1878 while moving his family from AR to TX. WHO WAS THIS SAMUEL's parents??? Indicators point to Samuel Parker (1795-1865) & Sarah Beckerdite (1795-aft. 1880). First, their birth states are the same as indicated for my Samuel's mother & father. Second, the had a son named Samuel b. 1833. Third, although at different times, they resided in Pike Co. and Montgomery Co., AR and my Samuel resided in Clark Co. and Pike Co., AR.
