This is from the Rockland (Maine) Gazette of Feb. 20, 1852: "Indicted. Capt. Alden Parker of Frankfort, was indicted by the grand jury at Belfast, on the 15th, for 'high and aggravated assault' upon Theophilus Cushing. Bills were also found against Loomis Taylor et als, for the assault upon Staples and Chase in the steamboat affair; also against Capt. Sanford for conspiracy."
