My brick wall, aka my ggg grandfather John Parker Mason is a mystery. (would have been born in 1830's)The only thing I have is rumor. He left after his wife's death in the York County, Pa (Peach Bottom/ Slateville area) (maybe around 1860)and was never heard from again. Can't find anything (maybe the civil war)My GG grandfather listed his father's place of birth as Deleware on a census. I know it was common in my family to use maiden names as middle names.
