She was born Aug. 15, 1921 in Thomasville, Georgia, a daughter of Ernest and Leola Hadley Parker. She moved to Youngstown in 1920 and she was a graduate of East High. She was formerly employed with Holiday Inn as a Hospitality Manager for 20 years and she was a member of Saint Columbus Cathedral. She moved to Fresno in 2008. She leaves to celebrate her life and love for them, Gary and his wife, Myeellia Carter in Fresno; her stepson, Welsey Hall of Savannah, Ga.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gordon; her sister, Ernestine Lokey; and her stepbrother, Anthony Butch Parker.
