Since receiving the DNA results, they have been able to document their relationship. P169 descends from John Ira Parker who was born in 1859 in Mississippi or Alabama. He married secondly to Virginia CRUTHIRDS, and died in Jackson Mississippi in 1960. P174 descends from John PARKER, born 1845 in Harrison County, Mississippi, died in1922. I'm seeking the marriage records - or, at least, the maiden names - of Pliny's three wives: Susan, Rosanna, and Ms. GRIMM. I'm also seeking Pliny's parents. I had hoped to find him unmarried in the 1850 census, which should tell me the identity of his parents, but so far have failed. Either he was skipped or is so badly mis-indexed, I can't pull him up in the search engine at Ancestry.com. Any additional information welcome.
