I have been searching and searching to no avail. My grandmother wrote the note in the teacup (that it came over on the ship Susan and Ellen.) Author: dorothydonnaparker Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.parker/5893.5998.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Re: Charles R. Parker. I have Thomas Parker, March 31, 1609 died Aug. 12, 1683. Born in Derby, Derbyshire, England he immigrated to America and settled in Reading Middleesex, Mass. He was the Deacon of the Church there. I think he is one of the three brothers who came over on the Susan and Ellen. You are welcome to browse the Parker tree - you would have to investigate every male parker in each generation after Thomas in order to come to Charles R. In the meantime, I am still doing major building on this tree. If I come across Charles I will get back to you. regards, Donna Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Author: ParkersofCA Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.parker/5893.6000/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My relative Robert John Parker was born in limerick Aug 7 1829. He was a catholic. He arrives in Canada in 1859 to be a reformatory guard for one of the first boys reformatories in Canada. He married a Mary Ann Rourke (Church of England) in 1859 in Quebec. We have nothing on John or Mary Ann prior to Canada except that both were from Ireland and he was reportedly from Limerick. Does this name strike a cord with what you have on Parkers from Limerick?
