While I know this has nothing to do with transcriptions, the families the message has been sent to or the Legacy program, it is a reminder to check emails for viruses. I have been receiving numerous virus messages over the past month - I believe them to be the Klez worm. I am becoming a little fed up with receiving them. Hello List, I am looking for any information on Isabella Todd Parker, second child of Mary Todd and James Parker. Isabella was born April 18, 1750 in Montgomery Co., PA. She died after 1780 in Chester Co., PA. Isabella was married twice, first to William Bodley, and then to John Bartholomew. I have one child listed from Isabella Todd Parker, and one of her two husbands, I know not which, and her name is Mary Bartholomew Bodley. This child carries both of Isabella's two husband's name. This child, Mary Bartholomew Bodley, married Robert Houston. Does anyone have any information on this family? Any information would help, and thank you. Carolyn Sutton
Tomorrow, December 7th is the 61st anniversary of the sneak Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and other military Installations. Please fly your flag and review some history of that day by visiting the USS Utah Association site "PEARL HARBOR: The USS Utah Story" at http://www.ussutah.org. For additional information click on the Home Page port hole "OTHER LINKS" to visit more related sites. There was one or more PARKERS KIA on that day. For a full list of all Pearl Harbor casualties visit this link: http://www.usswestvirginia.org/fulllist.htm All military installations and personnel within a 3 mile radius of Oahu were considered to be "Pearl Harbor" survivors, or, casualties.

Hello folks, once again I am asking for help in locating information about my family. I have however located some nice bits of information but would not have if not for the generousity of many nice people. Here is a brief outline of the info I have, hopefully there may be a link out there, I will happily share any info I have. My Parkers lived in Gibson, Madison, Hardeman , Lake and Obion Co. It appears they traveled on to Tipton and Shelby Counties. My grandfather William (Bud) Parker married Luemma Jane (Emma) about 1911 somewhere in west Tennessee. Their children were Luther, William, Robert, Paul and Ann Ruth. All born before 1920. I am told they settled around or near Ridgely Tennessee. My GGreat grand father John C. Kuykendall and his wife Mary F. Eubanks Kuykendall lived in Ridgely too before moving to Jackson, Tn. about 1928. It appears that Maude Kuykendall Braddy and her husband Jim Braddy lived with them but I cannot substantiate that. William (Bud) Parker was born in Tn. abt. 1897, his middle name was Albert I think. Grand mother Emma his wife was born in Tn. about 1890. William was killed or died between 1920 and 1926. Grandmother Emma died from accidental death in Memphis 1926. The children were snatched up by the Court system and the Catholic orphanage system, they would not even allow their grandfather John Kuykendall custody. Luther and Robert found a way to escape from the orphanage and lived with their grandfather John C. Kuykendall in Jackson, Tn. Luther in the 40s joined the Marines, served in the WW11 later married Nettie Mae and they moved to Beaumont, Tx. Robert was taken in by a family from Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson and I was told they moved to Nashville. Robert later settled in Colorado, he also served in WW11. My father Paul C. Parker was found a home in OliveBranch, Ms. with the Rikard family, attended school there. In 1940 he moved to Memphis and married my mother Ruby Lee Bullock. Dad served with the 4th Marine Division in WW11, he died in 1983. Ann Ruth stayed with the St Peter Orphanage and later married a Kent and Battaglia in Memphis, Tn. She died in 1991. William, the last brother I know little of. I am told he worked for Fred Montesi Food stores in Memphis, was also a baker. He served in the Corps WW11 and died between 1960 and 1963. This is all I know of my Parkers, have been trying desperately to find out who the parents of William (Bud) Parker were. My Kuykendalls are also linked to Abraham in NC. I have a bit of info on them and I will be happy to share all I have with you. Thank You, Bob Alabama
