I am researching the ancestors and descendants of Thomas and Eli nor Parker. I descend from their son, Isaac. Their other children were Isaiah and Hannah of Mecklenburg Co, NC. They lived in the Mallard Creek area. Isaac moved to Union, SC (actually was NC originally but the survey was incorrect and the lines were changed). Which Parkers from NC are you researching? I have collected all kinds of Parker material going across NC to trace my line. I have been looking for information on Martha M. Parker for many years. All I have is that she married Benjamin KIRBY in Cherokee County Texas in 1858. She is listed in the 1860 census as Melissa KIRBY. Benjamin died in Little Rock in the Civil War and Martha Melissa PARKER KIRBY just disappears. They had a son Thomas J. Kirby in the 1860 census. He reappears in 1884 when he marries Fannie Patton in Cherokee County Texas. So it appears he remained in Cherokee County from Birth, but what happened to his mother? Who are her parents? --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.558 / Virus Database: 350 - Release Date: 1/2/2004
