Hi, Marion and other PARKER researchers, Do you know if your Robert B. Parker had a brother named Francis Parker, b. Abt. 1811, who shipwrecked off the coast of Eleuthera, Bahamas and eventually settled there and married Jane Newbold and had 8 children, one of whom was named John Alexander Parker? He could have been born in New England or N. Carolina. You wouldn't happen to know anything about the letter would you? I don't believe it's part of Parkers Pathways. I think this is just a personal letter.

I have no knowledge of the letter you are seeking but I can tell you that Parker Pathways was a family newsletter published by Jane Parker Brown several years ago. I believe she lived in Illinois. It was fairly informal--just a way for Parker researchers to share information. I don't believe it is still being published and it is not listed in PERSI. At one time I corresponded with Jane Brown re Jonathan Pleasant Parker who married Mary F. Newman (I think she is the Mary F. you mention in your list of the children of Thomas Newman. We were unable to establish a connection to my Parker ancestor.
