    3. Does anyone have any further information on the children of Robert Parker or James Parker? My Parker ancestry goes back to a Benjamin Parker born about 1860 and of Kittery, York, Main. I see that Robert Parker had a son, Benjamin. Could he be my ancestor? I see that James Parker resided in Maine about that same time. Were James and Robert Parker related? Benjamin Parker was born about 1680 and resided in Kittery, York Maine. He died in Feb 1751 in Kittery, York, Maine. He was married on 7 Dec 1702 in Newcastle, Lincoln, Maine to Elizabeth Gilman born about 1681 and of Exeter, New Hampsire. She died 5 May 1721 in Kittery, York, Maine. They had four children, Thomas, Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Hannah. Any help in finding his parents would be greatly appreciated. My Alexander was born in NC and died here... He was married to Lizzie Dorman and had 2 children that lived; a son, William Bascom (my dad) and a daughter, Beatrice. He died sometime after 1917. His father is believed to be Robert B. Parker and mother's name is possibly Fannie. Shown in 1900 Census in NC as living with Robert B. and Fannie. In 1910 Census in NC, shown living with Frank and Pollie Parker as brother. Alex, Lizzie and Burren (Bascom) living in Frank Parker household. Wish I could be of more help to you...

Mrs. Parker has suffered for many years from frequent attacks of Rheumatism and during the past years has seldom left her bed. She was a member of the St. Paul Methodist church, but the state of her health prevented her from attending regularly and taking an active part in church matters.
