Hi Everyone, New to the list. Looking for any information on Thomas Parker; born about 1879; Son of William and Eliza Parker. Thomas Married my Great Grand Aunt. Margaret Ann Lewis, b 26 April 1878 Carmarthen Wales; Died 18 December 1934 Biddulph Ontario Canada. Thomas and Margaret were married in London City 4 April 1909. Did they have any Children? When and where was Thomas born and Died? Any information on this couple would be greatly appreciated. I have not been able to located them in the 1911 census. She is always called Abby or Matty (as her first two names are Abigail and Matilda and is my mother. She is still alive but quite ill now. She married a Brian Tetlow. She had 4 children, Myself (Joyce), Fay, Julie and David. Audrey (mums sister) married a Pat Hanlon(both now deceased)and they had two boys, Elias and Patrick. Elias (mums brother)is the one that went down in the bomber in the English channel and there were no survivors. I believe he was a gunner in a Lancaster bomber and his brother Lawrence was a pilot in the Lancaster, not the same plane that killed his brother. My grandmother,Abigail Laulii Parker (later Chegwidden) did not return to Samoa but continued to live in New Zealand where she died in hospital when I was in my teens. I have a photo of my great grandmother and grandmother. Also photos of mum, Aunty Audrey, Uncle Elias and Uncle Lawrence. My sister Julie is getting together family geneology for one of her daughters who is living in France at the moment. Would love to hear from you and also pass on info to my sister. I've "rescued" a memorial photograph card for Stuard GULICK b. Dec 23 1856 and died Mar 4 1907 at the age of 51 years, 2 months, and 9 days. The photograph mounted on the funeral/memorial card appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Stuard likely in his 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Stuard and his family: Stewart GULICK married Jane PARKER and had at least two children, a daughter Rosa GULICK b. 15 Oct 1878 in La Porte City, IA and a son Herman GULICK b. 4 Oct 1885 in Benton Co. I am Moses Parker's 4g-granddaughter. I visited the Old Spencer's Mill website which gives a short history. It is mentioned there that Turnbull Primitive Baptist Church, which the Parker's founded, records say that Elder John Parker is Moses' uncle and Moses' dad is Daniel Parker, who was supposed to have been their first minister.
