I've "rescued" an old photograph of E. H. CASWELL which was taken at the Ralph F. Channel Studio in Phoenixville, PA. The photograph was taken on 9 Sept 1872 and indicates that the infant in the photograph was born 1 Jan 1872 and weighs 21 pounds at the time. Based on limited research I believe that I've been able to locate the following information regarding the infant (Edward Henry CASWELL) and his family as follows: Edward Henry CASWELL was b. 1 Jan 1872 in Mount Clair, PA to parents Rosston CASWELL (b. Pennsylvania) and Miss MILLER (b. Pennsylvania). Edward married Lillian CASWELL and he died 10 Aug 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA. The cause of death was suicide with a gunshot wound to the head. CASWELL, age 39, first marriage 14 years, born PA, parents born PA, a Laundry Manager Lillian M. CASWELL, wife, age 39, second marriage 14 years, no children, born PA, parents born IN/PA 1930 census of Pittsburgh, PA: Henry E. CASWELL, age 58, married at age 25, born PA, parents born CT/PA, a Laundry Manager Lilly M.
