Hi, Betty -- I have had some success using the Family Search Labs website (http://familysearchlabs.com) to locate, and sometimes rule out, dates, places and numbers that were hard to read. If you go to that site and click on "Search Our Record Collections" you can then page down and find "Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Marriage Indexes." Good luck with your search! Sarah's date of birth was March 10, 1863 and it took place in Pennsylvania (according to the 1900 census). I believe it was in Philadelphia, but I find no concrete evidence of that. > > As for their marriage, it took place January 10, 1891 or June 10, 1891, but I cannot tell from the handwriting which month is correct. > > Are there any online or other records available which would answer these two questions? I have searched through the "Philadelphia Inquirer" for the information and have not found it. > > Thanks for any help, suggestions, etc., > > Betty Torno > St. Louis, MO > ********* > Visit the threaded archives of this list: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/PAPHILAD > ********* > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PAPHILAD-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message _________________________________________________________________ The New Busy is not the old busy.
