I recently found an obituary for an ancestor but don't understand parts of it, it says" members of the morning tent. no. 2  D. of P. and the willow grove no. 8 A. O. of P.D." are invited to attend her funeral etc... does anyone know what the abbreviations , intials stand for or what they mean?   thanks for any clues , sincerely, teresa.

I found the following book in the Phoenix library. It contains a lot of information on old organizations, fraternities, lodges, etc. Albert C. Stevens, Editor and Compiler, "The Cyclopedia of Fraternities", (New York: E. B. Treat and Company, 1907) Perhaps your local library has or can borrow a copy for you.
