    1. [PAPhl] Donlin genealogybank
    2. Good Morning, Could someone send me the following article from The Philadelphia Inquirer? Thomas Donlin, Oct 4, 1910. From what I can see he died in Springfield, Massachusetts and they are looking for a relative in Philadelphia. I have Donlin family from both locations and are trying to find a great aunt who immigrated to Philadelphia in 1909 and then disappeared after the 1910 census. She is said to have died young but that is all I know. I don't know if she married or not. I have been researching other Donlin, Rafferty and Dooley families in the hopes of finding a connection. Thank you, The Other cheryl

    1. Re: [PAPhl] Mary Donlin Ballynakill Galway
    2. Jane, I am seeking Mary Jane Donlin (Donlan) b. Nov 1892, Lagoo (Lagoo) Ballynakill, Leitrim barony, Loughrea, Galway. Most of the time on records they state they are from Woodford. She immigrated August 29 1909 on the Cedric with cousin Mary (Rafferty) Dooley who had come before her and married John Dooley in Philadelphia. In 1910, she is a servant on Eagle Road, Radnor Township, Delaware County. In May 1912, her brother Edward Donlan, b. Dec. 11 1891, immigrates listing sister Mary Donlan, Stradford, Chester County, PA. I don't find her again. I lose Edward Donlan in the 1920 census (I suspect he was in Connecticutt). In 1930, Edward Donnellan is living in Chicopee, Hampden County, MA. Edward and his brother Patrick live their lives in Springfield and Chicopee MA. There is another Donnellan family who live in this area that I have not been able to connect to yet. Mary Jane Donlan b. 1892, parents Patrick Donlan b. 1847 and Mary (Broderick) Donlan b. 1867 Cartron parents, John Broderick and Margaret (Rafferty). On Griffiths Valuation Edward Donlan is listed on the land in Lagoo which my great grandfather Patrick Donlin (Mary's father) lives on later. I have not been able to find a birth record for Patrick Donlin but assume this Edward is his father. In Philadelphia and later Ridley Park, lives Edward Donlin with wife Margaret, two sons and an adopted son who is really their nephew, Edward P, John Joseph and Raymon (Kenny). My thought is this Edward Donlin might be the brother of my great aunt Mary's father Patrick b. 1847. On June 30, 1919, Eugene Cooney dies. He is living with his uncle in Ridley Park and states he is from Derry Brien which is townland adjacent to Lagoo, so I am assuming these people might be related to my Donlin family, especially with the name Edward. So right now I am searching for places where these relatives might be buried hoping that I will find Mary Donlin buried with one of them. Mary (Rafferty) Dooley wife of John Dooley, daughters Mary b. 1906 and Catherine. Edward Donlin wife Margaret, sons Edward P, John Joseph, and Raymond Kenny. Also connected Catherine (Rafferty) McNaull married to Charles McNaull (2nd marriage for him). Too much information?
