Those who don't live in the area or visit this library may not be aware that there have been cuts to staff, hours, and services. I noticed the amount went up about the time this happened, so it could well be the only way to continue this service, though I don't know this for certain. If you plan on visiting on Philadelphia libraries, be sure to check hours first to be sure it is open. The same goes for neighboring counties' libraries. --- On Sun, 10/3/10, joseph brady <joe60brady@gmail.com> wrote: > how come it went from $1 to $10 > ????Joe > > On Sun, Oct 3, 2010 at 6:35 PM, Larry B. <phillyhm@hotmail.com> > wrote: > > > > > Send a written request with the person's name, exact > date of death (month, > > day, year) or burial date and a stamped self-addressed > envelope. Philadelphia is going broke! Next year it will probably be $20.00. Gene Stackhouse in Germantown Heights.
