Please don't post "test" messages. Know that the list is HERE and functioning for research posts and purposes. Instead of "test" please post an actual query or some data related to the topic of this list. Thanks! And rest assured this is not directed solely at you...just a reminder to the list. This wonderful list should be able to help me! I am trying very hard to help a nephew of a beloved aunt we share. Dear Aunt Bertha Mendelson McCormick (married to my Uncle Leonard) had a sad story. Her parents were Harry and Mary Jane LOGAN MENDELSON. Mary Jane's Irish parents disowned her when she married outside her faith. I know her parents were John and Mary -?-LOGAN both born Ireland. Mary Jane was born in 1864 in Philadelphia. A brother John born in 1860 remained with her. Here's the cemetery question.... John LOGAN is buried at Mount Moriah cemetery. His death certificate has a notation....PRIVILEGED BURIAL. Can anyone tell me what that means? I am not finding John or Mary Jane in 1870 census and was hoping this record would lead somewhere! I would love to help my "sort of cousin" find his Irish roots! We both loved our Aunt Bertha. Fond regards to all of you Phila Roots members!
