Hi All Just wondering if anyone would be able to visit the reading room of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania in Locust St, Philadelphia? I am interested in various papers and documents of my ancestor, Abel HUMPHRYS, who lived in Philadelphia and Northumberland from 1796 until 1808 when he died in Havana. (He traded merchandise between the two cities.) If anyone is able to help me, I have the references to the papers from the small collections of the McAllister library. I live in New Zealand (I know, I know, Hobbit country.but we don't all have hairy feet!) so it's a little difficult to do it myself. Dorothy Gaunt
