http://www.hootowlhollow.comhttp://www.hootowlhollow.blogspot.com No point looking at the library for Heritage Quest. It was my favorite census site and where I had the most luck, but it has been taken over by Ancestry.com and no longer exists.Jane Unger > where can I get the census on line? thank you > ********* > Visit the threaded archives of this list: > http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/PAPHILAD > ********* > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > ********* Visit the threaded archives of this list: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/PAPHILAD ********* ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
That is not so. My library still has HQ, and I use it often. It's still coming from Pro Quest, which has everything the same, including census for all years, city directories, books, and several other databases. HQ online works fine. All that changed is what it says at the top of the HQ page, and the formatting of the search page and of the results pages is a little fancier. Check with the county library.
