Hi I am new to list today and am seeking information on a Murder that took place on Good Friday 26/3/1937 at Philadelphia Hospital. Apparently there were newspaper reports of it at the time. The name of person was John George BURROWS of Irish origin and who worked at the hospital. He originally came from Co. Down, in Northern Ireland, and was killed by one of the patients. Where would i find a newspaper of that era that would have reported the death thats records go back to the 30s. Any help in putting me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I live in Co. Down myself and have Belfast City Cemetery database of deaths also some old Belfast Street directories. Always willing to do a lookup for anyone in USA researching their ancestors. I look forward to hearing from someone who can help me in my search. Glen. glenmcgivern@btinternet.com
