    3. Hi Elaine First of all, are you saying that Philip Kline b. 1718 d 1858? This seems highly unlikely: he would have been 140 years old. If you would like help from the group, additional clarification would help, including information on his spouse and your sources. Second of all, just because he is no longer listed as a head of household, I wouldn't assume he was dead. I have several ancestors who spent their last days in an alms house, veterans home, or home run by their religious affiliation. Their spouse was the head of household long before their death. I have researched him a couple of years ago without much success. I have him in 1850 census with his family and quite a few directories between 1847 and 1958 in Philadelphia. His first son was born in Hamburg, Berks County in 1839. The latest Phila. directory I have him in is: 1858 DIRECTORY Philip Kline 334 N. 15th lab. 1858/1859 PHILIP DIED- but I have been unable to find his death record. 1859 DIRECTORY Catherine at 524 3rd St., 1860 DIRECTORY Catherine wid of Philip 1731 Carlton I am trying to find the death record for Philip Kline. Any new ideas? Elaine
