Elaine, It is highly likely that your ancestor is buried at Holy Cross; as someone else mentioned, folks who lived in Philadelphia were frequently buried there. I suggest you call Holy Cross for info; the two ladies who work there are wonderful and go out of their way to be helpful. 215-476-3656 Mary Ann Villanova Pa -------------------------------------------------- From: ""E" Sharp" <bellemarco@gmail.com> Sent: Thursday, June 03, 2010 2:11 PM To: <paphilad@rootsweb.com> Subject: [PAPhl] Holy Cross Cemetery Philadelphia > I am trying to locate the grave of John Kennedy who died 12/26/1896 > and his obit says he is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery. Thank you one and all for the Holy Cross cemetery information. They have an extensive list of burials online but he is not one of the Kennedy's listed so I shall call them and see what transpires. http://www.interment.net/data/us/pa/delaware/holycross/index.htm Elaine
