Hello, I am trying to locate the church my mother was baptised in. She lived at 841 South Cecil St. I contacted St. Victoria's, but they said they did not have her record. She would have been baptised in early 1929. Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave, There is no St. Victoria Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. 841 S. Cecil St. would have been Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, now closed. The records are held at St. Cyprian (former St. Carthage and Transfiguration combined). Location, Cobbs Creek Pkwy. at Cedar Ave. 19143. Phone-215-747-3250. I wonder what church you contacted. The closest I can think of is Our Lady of Victory, but that is at 54th and Vine and your Cecil St. address is definitely not within that church's boundaries. Tell me your mother's name.
