Ancestry.com has his death certificate online. You can go onto ancestry and get a copy of it. I would attach it but attachments don't work on rootsweb lists. Here's the info: Died in Philadelphia, at home, 3413 Baring? St widower, born 3 - 7 - 72, age 81: died May 17, 1953 a cooper, barrel industry born Phila PA father Henry Smith mother Margaret Gerring never in armed forces, no SSAN informant Wm J Rainey, 8236 River Rd, Delain, NJ (hard to read the handwriting and I'm not sure I got the place names correct) died from cerebral hemorrhage, suddenly contributory hypertension, six years burial 5 - 20 - 53 Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Delaware Co, Penn funeral director John J Boyle , Weber Funeral Home, hard to read address there are actually lots of Pennsylvania records online now.
