I have hit a brick wall.... I have gotten cemetery information from someone that gave me a specific date of death for someone I am desperately looking for. Michael Agnello died 5/20/1960 Buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Philly I have had two people try for an obit and no luck. I also asked for a death cert. and the look up that person did came up empty as well. No luck in the SSDI either. I know he came from Italy because his census records indicate that he came over either 1900 or 1902 (unclear). He was naturalized but since I can't find an immigration record that matches his name at any of the popular sites, I don't know where to look. I know he was born abt. 1887 in Italy. The grave sites at Holy Cross have a WWII marker on them but I don't know if the marker is for him or his son Angelo, who is buried next to him (another tough one to locate info. on). I also know that he was married to Mildred Comadico (comedeco) (millie) and that they were married around 1907. No records found about the marriage either. I have found records of the family in the census under Agnello, Agnella, Agniello, and Vanella/Danella. This is adding to my frustration. Anyway, I would appreciate any lookups or advice anyone can give me. This is my husbands side of the family and there was a big falling out so the only resource I have is my father-in-law who knows next to nothing and has no pictures. Without Michael's parent's names, I can go no further. I was hoping the names would be on one of his records. Thanks again, Laura Agnella
