    1. Re: [PAPHL] Davis and Thomas families of Philadelphia County, 18th century
    2. Natalie, In your Davis research have you run across a William Davis born abt 1775 who had a daughter Charity? This is one of my titanium walls. My ancestor, Charity Davis, is listed in the Bucks County Intelligencer for her marriage in 1821 and all it says is that her father was William, deceased. She might have had a brother named Gidion but this is all speculation because I found a reference to a Gidion who also had a father named William also deceased. If you find any clues at all please let me know. I would really appreciate it. Also, do not reply to this message as I will no longer be with AOL. Instead my e-mail address is _Kitty4quilts@yahoo.com_ (mailto:Kitty4quilts@yahoo.com) Thanks so much. Diane in CO In a message dated 3/25/2006 6:42:25 P.M. County. Samson was the son of David Thomas who died in Philadelphia County in 1717/1718. His children changed the surname to Davis. Does anyone have information about this elusive family? Thanks so much.
