I am interested in learning more about John Vasey, proprietor of the North Exchange, a flashy sort of drinking house in Philadelphia ca 1834. The building converted to Temperance Hall, on North Third below Green. The temperance movement bought the building to purify it. John Vasey also ran an establishment called Our House at what had been called Military Hall (1835). Do either of these buildings still exist? if so, what is the current address and use of each? Is it possible to track down old deeds? Where should I be looking for this time period? Thanks to all, Carol
