Yes, that is something to consider that even William may not be her father. I thought because of the age difference between William and Mary Ann, that Mary Ann may be a step mother (and then there are all those younger children in the household with Emma listed at 18...although I think she was more like 15). Probably need to work on a death certificate for her at this point! Thanks for the input. I really had not considered that William may not be her father.
