Hello all. I'm trying to find, so far without success, Virginia CROUT Harvey, widow to Charles HARVEY. In the Polk's Philadelphia City Directory, she is living at 232 Church La in Germantown. However, she is not at that address in the census. What year was the 1930 directory printed? Was the date gathered earlier and published in 1930, or was the data gathered in 1930 and printed the same year (which would be a mighty big task, I'd think)? In directories in other cities, they are begun up to 2 years prior to publication. Thanks! Laurie
