Hello to all on the list..... a question......my grandfather was killed in a car accident in 1952 in Philadelphia. i have the date, time, location and a very brief newspaper article on the incident. I am wondering if there is a way to obtain a copy of the police incident report or any other pertinent information about the acident? Would I contact the police dept, city archives or what? I know this one will be difficult, but I also know that this kind of information can be obtained if you get to the correct place. Is this a '"freedom of information act" type of request?
