Island is pretty far south from north 7th. At least the current Island is -- there may have been one further north in 1890. I have an 1878 Public Ledger Almanac which has an English Lutheran Church at Race below Sixth (St John's), and St Luke's (4th above Girard),. German Lutheran St Jacobus, 3rd and Columbia (where I think my grandmother went -at about the same period), and another German Lutheran at Franklin below Vine. Street numbers evidently came in after 1878. I am not sure where all of these are or were, exactly, but they should be within a mile or 2 of 733 north 7th.
