    3. Subject: a new subscriber needing help Hi.........my great-aunt, MARY ANN REED, was born in the Tower of London in 1864.. Her father, my great-grandfather, was a Sergeant in the Kings Royal Rifles and he was stationed at the Tower. I have been able to trace Mary Ann from London to Northumberland and her marriage to a CHARLES CASSIDY in 1886. They had two children, MARY ANN and CHARLES, and in 1898 Mary Ann and her children left England to join her husband in Elizabeth, New Jersey. By 1901 they are in Philadelphia and the 1910 Census shows the family but not the father. By 1920 the son can't be found and Mary Ann is living with her daughter who is married to a JACOB STRALEN sometimes spelled STRELAN and other unreadable spellings. I was able to trace MARY ANN to 1930, still living with her daughter and son-in-law. This where my research has stopped ...............because of the different spellings of Strelan I haven't been able to find the family. I've checked Social Security but there is nothing on Mary Ann ....................she was usually employed as a nurse. I've also checked the list of war dead and men registered for the First World War and can't find Charles Cassidy, Junior. Although he could have immigrated elsewhere. Do you have any ideas on where I could look next or have I hit the brickwall, again? Look forward to hearing from you.........................thanks, Judy
