If I were looking in Philadelphia newspapers for obituaries 1875-1880, which are the best to use?. My people were Lutherans living at 134 Vine Street. Since they were bakers, were there publications devoted specifically to bakers' associations? Thanks! Natalie ndburrows@verizon.net
Natalie, Where is your Burrows family from? I have some in my tree from the Essex Co. Newark area. and I believe they too were bankers. Ann --- when I said my people I was referring to the Nagle/Maier branch. They were bakers, not bankers. The Burrows name comes from my husband whose family was from Texas and the South..
