Looking for date of death and cemetery for my grgrandfather, Alfred Gilbert GROPENGIESER, b abt Aug 1871. I think he is the same Alfred in the 1880 Census. Found him in 1900 Census under mangled name Ropenteises. He was married to Annie BUTTERWICK. He had one son Albert Gilbert, b May 1900. I believe (from what my father remembers) he died in 1905 in Philiadelphia, but have found nothing. Anna, widow & son Gilbert are found in 1910in Pennsburg Boro. She was working at the Perkiomen Seminary. She had the family name changed in 1918 to Butterworth. Court papers show Alfred deceased. Any help would be so appreciated, as I am at a lost on where to look next. Michele
